Duties

• Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, suites, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity and uphold cleanliness standards
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to verify adherence to hygiene protocols, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations
• Oversee inventory management for cleaning supplies, linens, laundry services, and custodial equipment
• Enforce health and safety policies to maintain a secure working environment for staff and guests
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or event setups as needed
• Assist houskeepers and clean rooms

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial cleaning environments
• Strong background in cleaning techniques including janitorial services, laundry operations, and general custodial work
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards and procedures is highly desirable
• Knowledge of management practices related to housekeeping operations and quality assurance
• Experience with inventory control, safety compliance, and staff training in a fast-paced setting
