Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards and safety regulations.
• Lead, motivate, and train housekeeping staff to deliver consistent, high-quality service while fostering teamwork and professional growth.
• Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance to optimize productivity and maintain operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, laundry operations, and back-of-house areas to uphold quality standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure seamless operations.
• Address guest requests or complaints promptly with professionalism and a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Enforce health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or hotel setting.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience managing housekeeping teams or similar staff groups.
• Strong management skills with the ability to organize schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and oversee daily operations.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and commercial cleaning equipment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact professionally with guests.
• Ability to lead by example with a positive attitude while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
