Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient and thorough cleaning routines.
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
• Monitor adherence to safety regulations and sanitation protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and ordering necessary materials.
• Implement effective cleaning & sanitation management practices for both routine and specialized industrial or commercial cleaning projects.
• Foster a team-oriented environment through clear communication, motivation, and performance feedback.

Skills

• Proven experience in custodial services, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent managerial communication abilities to provide clear instructions and constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and best practices in industrial and commercial cleaning.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Experience with laundry operations and custodial equipment maintenance is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a customer service-focused setting with a focus on hospitality excellence.
