Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the housekeeping operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of the property while leading a team of housekeeping staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Duties

• Manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring that all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Supervise and train housekeeping staff in proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while meeting guest expectations.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any cleanliness-related concerns.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed while managing costs effectively.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services in a professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.

Experience

• Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality or hotel industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, custodial practices, and floor care maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Familiarity with hospitality standards and best practices in cleanliness is preferred.
