Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety across our hospitality or commercial facilities. In this role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, supervise staff, ensure compliance with sanitation regulations, and promote a positive environment focused on exceptional customer service. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitation of all areas according to established standards.
• Assign tasks related to industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, laundry services, and janitorial duties while monitoring quality control.
• Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including sanitation protocols and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to support daily operations.
• Foster a team-oriented environment through effective management practices, including staff supervision, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
• Communicate managerial directives clearly to staff while maintaining excellent customer service standards for internal clients and guests.
• Implement management strategies for cleaning & sanitation management that optimize efficiency without compromising quality or safety.

Experience

• Proven supervisory experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety regulations applicable to industrial and commercial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively through leadership skills in team supervision and management.
• Experience with janitorial services, laundry operations, and hospitality housekeeping management preferred.
• Strong communication skills necessary for managerial communication with staff and clients alike.
• Background in managing cleaning & sanitation processes with a focus on safety compliance and quality assurance.
• Prior experience in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment maintenance is advantageous.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
