Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with quality standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and janitorial equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain stock levels
• Enforce safety policies and proper use of cleaning chemicals to promote a safe working environment
• Address guest requests or concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards

Qualifications

• Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within hospitality or commercial cleaning environments, at least 1 year.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and janitorial equipment operation
• Demonstrated management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively
• Experience with hotel housekeeping management or hospitality industry standards preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and accountability among staff
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality service
