Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold cleanliness standards and safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health regulations
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency
• Develop work schedules that optimize staffing levels based on occupancy rates and special events
• Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance satisfaction and resolve issues effectively
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, inspections, and staff performance for reporting purposes

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial services within the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with other departments and interact professionally with guests
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and best practices
