Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure the cleanliness and comfort across our Air BnB premises.

Applicants MUST be aged over 21yrs old, be excellent cleaners, have use of a car to travel to various locations for which a mileage fee will be paid and be able to highlight areas for improvement within other members of the housekeeping team

In this vital role, you will participate in housekeeping operations, check the cleanliness of other locations and ensure high standards of hygiene, and foster a positive, efficient work atmosphere.

Your attention to detail will directly impact guest satisfaction and the overall ambiance of our property, making every stay memorable and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service standards
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness quality, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
• Enforce health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all staff members
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs efficiently and resolve any service issues promptly
• Prepare schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to optimize productivity and morale

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments with janitorial expertise
• Strong cleaning skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
• Excellent communication skills for clear instruction and effective team coordination
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Ability to manage inventory, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities quickly
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not required
