Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks across all guest areas and back-of-house facilities.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure adherence to safety regulations, sanitation standards, and quality expectations.
• Develop work schedules, assign duties, and monitor team performance to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and laundry areas to ensure cleanliness, safety compliance, and sanitation standards are met or exceeded.
• Implement cleaning & sanitation management procedures aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning and custodial services.
• Enforce safety regulations related to industrial cleaning equipment usage, chemical handling, and general custodial practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop improvement plans for housekeeping processes and customer service initiatives that elevate guest satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong background in industrial and commercial cleaning.
• Demonstrated staff supervision skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through management and leadership qualities.
• Excellent communication skills essential for managerial communication, team supervision, and customer service interactions.
• Knowledge of sanitation protocols, safety regulations, janitorial procedures, and cleaning & sanitation management systems.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks such as laundry operations, cleanliness inspections, and staff scheduling.
• Leadership qualities that motivate teams while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Experience in managing large-scale cleaning projects within hospitality or similar environments is preferred.

Pay: $23.62 - $28.45 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
