Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and manage our cleaning operations across various facilities. Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the daily cleaning activities of housekeeping staff to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Train new team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols
• Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and motivate team members to achieve their best
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to verify cleanliness, sanitation, and adherence to safety regulations
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and laundry services to ensure smooth operations
• Implement and enforce health and safety policies related to industrial cleaning, custodial tasks, and sanitation management
• Collaborate with management to develop cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while minimizing disruption

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a focus on industrial or commercial cleaning environments
• Strong staff supervision skills with previous supervising or team management experience
• Excellent managerial communication abilities to clearly assign tasks, provide feedback, and resolve issues effectively
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and high performance among staff
• Customer service orientation with the ability to address client needs professionally and promptly
• Experience with laundry operations and housekeeper management is a plus
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
