Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia Beach, VA. This role oversees daily housekeeping operations, including assigning tasks to room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff, and ensuring that all guest rooms and common areas meet DoubleTree by Hilton standards for cleanliness and presentation. The Housekeeping Supervisor inspects rooms and public spaces, coordinates with the front desk and maintenance teams, and responds promptly to guest requests or issues related to cleanliness and room amenities. This role includes monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, supporting training and coaching of housekeeping team members, and helping maintain health, safety, and hygiene guidelines throughout the property.

• Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess housekeeping skills, including room cleaning procedures, public area upkeep, and attention to detail in presentation.
• Candidates should possess laundry-related skills, such as handling linens, operating laundry equipment, and maintaining standards for cleanliness and fabric care.
• Candidates should possess customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests and collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality supervision is highly beneficial.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for extended periods, in line with housekeeping duties.
• Knowledge of basic safety, cleaning, and sanitation practices; familiarity with brand standards is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional hospitality training or certifications are an advantage.
