Housekeeping Supervisor / Coordinator - Evening Shift

Silk Hospitality is a leading provider of housekeeping services to hotels across Australia. We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor / Coordinator to join our team in one of our partner hotels located in Perth CBD.

This is a key evening leadership role suited to someone with strong housekeeping experience who is confident working independently and taking responsibility for the department during their shift. You must be available to work from 7:30 PM to midnight.

Role Responsibilities

• Take charge of housekeeping operations during the evening shift.
• Perform a combination of Housekeeping Coordinator and Supervisor duties.
• Coordinate and support the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Manage room allocations, priorities, and operational requirements.
• Conduct room and public area inspections to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Respond to guest and hotel requests promptly and professionally.
• Liaise with hotel departments regarding housekeeping requirements and operational matters.
• Monitor team performance and productivity throughout the shift.
• Manage linen, amenities, supplies, and housekeeping stock as required.
• Ensure guest privacy, security, and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
• Ensure Workplace Health & Safety procedures are followed and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
• Provide hands-on assistance to the team when required.
• Ensure the housekeeping department is organised and operating effectively throughout the evening shift.

About You

We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable, and confident taking responsibility for housekeeping operations.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous housekeeping supervisory or coordination experience, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day housekeeping operations.
• Confidence working independently and being in charge of the department during the evening shift.
• Availability to work from 7:30 PM to midnight.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate staff, prioritise workloads, and respond to operational requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to remain organised and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach.
• Professional presentation and a strong work ethic.
