AbouttheRole
You’llhelpleadandsupportourhousekeepingTEAM,inspectguestroomsforcleanlinessandquality,andensureanexceptionalguestexperience.Thisisahands-onrolethatincludesassistingwithguestroomcleaningasneeded.
Responsibilities
- Superviseandsupporthousekeepingstafftoensureroomsarecleanedefficientlyandmeethotelstandards.
- Inspectguestroomsandpublicareasforcleanliness,presentation,andmaintenanceissues.
- Providefeedbackandguidancetoteammemberstomaintainqualitystandards.
- Assigndailytasksandhelpprioritizeroomcleaningbasedonoccupancyandguestneeds.
- Reportmaintenanceissues,damageditems,andsafetyconcernspromptly.
- Ensurehousekeepingcarts,supplies,andstorageareasarecleanandorganized.
- Monitorinventoryoflinens,amenities,andcleaningsuppliesandreportshortages.
- Assistwithcleaningguestroomswhenneeded.
- Respondpromptlytoguestrequestsandresolvecleanlinessconcernsprofessionally.
- Ensureproperuseofcleaningproductsandcompliancewithsafetyandsanitationprocedures.
- Communicateroomstatusupdatesandspecialrequestswiththefrontdeskandmanagement.
- Helptrainteammembersoncleaningprocedures,hotelstandards,andsafetypractices.
Requirements
- Atleast1yearofhousekeepingsupervisoryexperienceinaselect-servicehotelisrequired.
- Previousexperienceinspectingguestroomsandenforcingcleanlinessstandards.
- Strongleadership,communication,andorganizationalskills.
- Excellentattentiontodetailandtheabilitytoidentifycleanlinessormaintenanceissues.
- Abilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesinafast-pacedenvironment.
- Abilitytomotivateateam,provideconstructivefeedback,andaddressperformanceconcernsprofessionally.
- Basiccomputerskillsforupdatingroomstatusesandcompletingreports.
- Abilitytostand,walk,bend,andperformphysicalhousekeepingdutiesthroughouttheshift.
- Willingnesstoassistwithguestroomcleaningasneeded.
- BilingualEnglish/Spanishskillsareaplus.
- Flexibleschedule,includingweekendsandholidays,asneeded.
