Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector

The Hampton Inn & Suites is hiring a full time executive housekeeping supervisor! Job tasks include:

• Inspect rooms for safety hazards and for the operating condition of equipment.
• Check for damaged or soiled linens.
• Report all lost and found articles and maintenance issues to front desk.
• Maintain storage rooms and carts.
• Provide information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities.
• Respond to requests from guests for assistance and information about the local area.
• Prepare rooms for guest arrival and respond to special requests from guests.
• Assist with preventive cleaning programs as assigned.
• Adhere to all fire, safety and security procedures according to company policies.
• Perform additional assignments as required.
• Responsible for hiring & training housekeepers.
• Responsible for inventory, inspecting orders, maintaining inventory.
• Acting as a leader for the housekeeping department.
• Manage a team of housekeepers
• Report issues to management
• Inspect rooms to ensure they're to Marriott Standards
• Input room status into PMS
• Deep clean unoccupied rooms
• Deep clean public areas
• Theft prevention

Room Attendant Responsibilities :

• Clean rooms/suites as assigned.
• Responsible for any assigned keys.
• Vacuum and sweep carpets and floor.
• Dust and vacuum furniture.
• Dusting and cleaning room decorations, appliances and structural surfaces.
• Clean showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items.
• Remove used guest amenities and supplies.
• Replace room amenities, literature and other items as directed by supervisor and prescribed by brand standards.
• Empty wastebaskets and replace wastebasket liner.

Rate of pay depends on experience, Hilton offers excellent discounts to all associates, holidays and weekends required, minimum two years housekeeping and one year supervisor experience required.
