Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeping Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities or similar settings. Duties

• Follow strict sanitation procedures to prevent infections and ensure compliance with infection control policies
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks using safe lifting practices when moving furniture or large supplies
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, chemical usage, and safety checks to ensure accountability and compliance

Skills

• Knowledge of OSHA standards related to workplace safety and chemical handling in healthcare environments
• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, with a focus on sanitation and infection prevention
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining environmental services standards
• Strong understanding of chemical agent handling, storage, and disposal procedures in accordance with safety protocols
• Physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and team members
• Familiarity with hospital or healthcare facility procedures related to environmental services and sanitation protocols

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
