Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct janitorial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high hygiene standards
• Carry out floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain pristine flooring conditions
• Assist with custodial responsibilities related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects as needed
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
• Use proper techniques for residential painting touch-ups or minor repairs when required to enhance facility appearance
• Maintain cleanliness equipment and supplies inventory, ensuring all tools are sanitized and stored correctly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance practices
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
• Prior porter or housekeeping experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
