Housekeeping Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
• Execute janitorial tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Handle floor care duties such as buffing and polishing surfaces to enhance appearance.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
• Assist with commercial cleaning tasks in offices, public spaces, and other facilities as required.
• Provide custodial support for events or special occasions as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies are low.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Basic maintenance skills to assist with minor repairs or upkeep tasks.
• Porter experience is beneficial for managing cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
• Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
