Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, hallways, offices, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
• Handle janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window cleaning, and restocking supplies
• Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance to support overall building operations
• Support residential painting projects when needed to enhance property aesthetics
• Maintain safety protocols during all cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use for optimal performance

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on commercial or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various surfaces
• Familiarity with residential painting processes is a plus
• Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy setting
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts as required
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
