We are looking for reliable, caring and motivated Housekeeping Assistants who take pride in their work and want to help make our home a clean, safe and comfortable place for residents, staff and visitors.

About the Role

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home. Your duties will include:

• Cleaning residents’ bedrooms, communal areas and staff facilities.
• Following infection prevention and control procedures and safe working practices.
• Undertaking laundry duties, including washing, drying and distributing clean linen.
• Replenishing essential supplies, including soap, paper towels and toilet rolls.
• Reporting maintenance concerns, hazards and equipment faults promptly.
• Working alongside colleagues across the home while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity and preferences.

Essential Criteria

Applicants must have:

• At least six months’ experience in a housekeeping role.
• A genuine interest in working within a care home environment.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A willingness to complete relevant training.
• Flexibility to work allocated shifts on a rota basis.
