We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning and floor care using appropriate equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Handle cleaning tasks across various hotel areas, including guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms, ensuring high standards of sanitation.
• Safely handle chemical agents by following safety data sheets (SDS) and proper procedures to prevent accidents and ensure effective cleaning.
• Conduct manual handling of heavy items such as furniture or cleaning supplies with proper techniques to prevent injury.
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently, including vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and industrial cleaning tools.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by assisting with inventory control of cleaning supplies and maintaining cleanliness logs.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times.
• Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing guest requests professionally and courteously.
• Adhere to sanitation standards and health regulations to promote a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike.

Experience

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a hospitality or industrial setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is advantageous.
• Experience with chemical handling, sanitation procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols ensures readiness in critical situations.
• Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently supports operational needs.
• Strong background in hospitality or hotel housekeeping roles indicates a commitment to guest satisfaction and cleanliness standards.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
