Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking AM Houseman to join our team at Tru by Hilton. The Houseman will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms, hallways, and other hotel areas during the evening shift. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong commitment to delivering excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure guest areas are clean, tidy, and fully stocked with necessary amenities.
• Assist with the delivery of linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms.
• Assist housekeeping team with room turnovers and deep cleaning projects.
• Perform maintenance tasks like light bulb replacement, moving furniture, or fixing minor repairs.
• Support the front desk by transporting luggage for guests and ensuring common areas are prepared for the next day.
• Maintain hotel safety and cleanliness standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or hotel-related position preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
