Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest areas and public spaces. Your proactive approach will ensure a welcoming environment for guests and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
• Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel protocols
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and maintain floor care standards to ensure pristine surfaces
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and other high-traffic areas to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Support hotel housekeeping management by restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues promptly
• Follow hotel emergency procedures to ensure guest safety during any incident or evacuation

Requirements

• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and cleaning equipment operation
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety protocols
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) for chemical handling
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
• Previous experience in industrial cleaning or hotel housekeeping management is a plus
