Responsibilities

• Perform thorough floor cleaning and maintenance using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure spotless surfaces.
• Handle various cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitation of guest rooms, hallways, public areas, and service spaces.
• Manage chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS), proper handling procedures, and storage protocols to ensure a safe environment for all staff and guests.
• Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks related to moving furniture, supplies, or equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by replenishing supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring cleanliness of janitorial closets.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently to respond effectively in case of incidents or safety concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, industrial cleaning, or janitorial services is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including chemical handling and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and mops is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and manual handling safely.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
