Housing Coordinator

Person Directed Supports Inc. is looking for a Full Time Housing Coordinator to join their Housing Transition and Tenancy Sustaining Service department. The Housing Coordinator will help people with intellectual disabilities obtain housing and provide the support they need to successfully sustain their own living environment.

This involves, but is not limited to finding safe and affordable locations, developing relationships and working with property managers/landlords, developing a budget for affordability, starting/stopping utilities, finding housemates if needed based on compatible matching, assisting people with applications/leases, and sustaining their environment for the duration of their lease. The Housing Coordinator continues to play an imperative role with teaching and role modeling. An applicant will preferably demonstrate a history of experience in real estate matters such as the application and lease process (real estate license not required). This position requires travel between the York, Lancaster and surrounding areas and must be available for flexible hours as housing concerns can come up at any time.
