Duties

• Engage with clients to assess their housing needs and develop personalized support plans that promote stability and independence
• Assist clients with navigating housing applications, including using property management systems like Yardi, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing
• Negotiate with landlords, property managers, and service providers to secure suitable accommodations for clients
• Provide ongoing support to help clients address barriers such as financial difficulties, mental health issues, or tenancy challenges
• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress, offer guidance, and adjust support strategies as needed
• Maintain detailed records of client interactions, housing status updates, and case notes using Yardi or similar case management software
• Collaborate with community agencies, social services, and internal teams to coordinate resources and facilitate comprehensive support

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social services, housing support, or related fields is preferred but not required; a strong desire to learn is essential
• Excellent negotiation skills to advocate effectively on behalf of clients and secure housing solutions
• Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills—able to listen actively, provide clear information, and build trustful relationships
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail when managing case files and documentation
• Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
