We are looking for two enthusiastic Housing Support Workers to join our Supported Housing team within our Ofsted-registered Foyer service for young people aged 16–25. This is a rewarding, fast-paced role where you will work directly with young people who are at risk of homelessness or transitioning from care. Working for us means being part of a values-driven organisation that supports children, young people, and adults from all backgrounds to reach their full potential. You’ll join a well-established team delivering services across Housing, Youth Work, Outdoor Education, Health & Wellbeing, and more.

This role is ideal for someone who is:

  • Passionate about supporting young people to achieve their potential
  • Confident, approachable and able to build positive relationships quickly
  • Calm and resilient when dealing with challenging situations

  • Organised and able to manage a varied workload
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Good with IT and confident using basic systems and Microsoft Office

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Completing sign-ups, inductions, and welcoming young people into the service
  • Supporting young people to understand their accommodation, rights, and responsibilities
  • Helping young people manage rent accounts and develop budgeting skills
  • Carrying out weekly accommodation checks and reporting repairs
  • Supporting young people to develop independence skills and achieve personal goals
  • Encouraging engagement in support sessions, activities, and house meetings
  • Ensuring applicants and residents are kept informed throughout the process
  • Maintaining a safe, well-managed and supportive living environment
  • Keeping accurate records and completing day-to-day housing support administration

What We Offer

  • 28 days annual leave (pro rata, including Bank Holidays)
  • A flexible and supportive working environment
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • The chance to build a meaningful career in housing and youth support
  • Opportunities to apply for internal progression roles across the organisation

Additional Information

  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS check
  • You will be expected to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. We are also committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of our work.
