About the role

Rieckermann Indonesia is looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our growing Technical Service team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HP Indigo digital printing machines, supporting our customers across Indonesia. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge digital printing technology and deliver top-level service to clients in the packaging and commercial printing industries.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission mechanical and/or electrical components of HP Indigo machines according to technical drawings and procedures
• Support customers during startup and machine acceptance stages
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on-site
• Troubleshoot machine issues via phone, email, or in person
• Collaborate with HP technical teams and manufacturers for deeper technical support
• Train customers in machine operation, routine maintenance, and best practices
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and deliver excellent service
• Accurately submit service reports, time sheets, and job cards to the Service Manager
• Provide feedback from customer visits to help identify new service opportunities or machine upgrades
• Recommend necessary spare parts stock and upgrade options to customers

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (or related technical field)
• 2–3 years of experience in digital printing machine, preferably in graphic, automation or printing
• Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Self-driven, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working under pressure and in customer-facing situations
• Willing to travel frequently, including short-notice assignments
• Strong sense of responsibility
