HPC Support Engineer

Oak Ridge, TN | Technical Support Engineer | Full-time We are actively recruiting a Technical Support Engineer for our client in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This is a direct hire opportunity that will require onsite work on a regular basis . Must have experience with technical troubleshooting, customer support, and complex computing environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, systems, and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor system performance and assist with operational support activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve technical problems.
• Document issues, solutions, and support procedures.
• Assist users with system access, functionality, and technical questions.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of support activities and issue resolution.
• Support upgrades, maintenance activities, and system implementations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience supporting enterprise technology environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Familiarity with operating systems, networking concepts, and technical support practices.
• Experience documenting technical procedures and support activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
