HPC/GPU Engineer

I have partnered with an organisation who runs a large-scale AI computing platform. They’re looking for a HPC/GPU Operations Engineers to keep that platform running.

The role:

▪️First and Second-line support for a large GPU cluster used for AI training and inference

▪️Work through alerts and user tickets: find what has broken, fix it, record what you did

▪️Troubleshoot Linux hosts, containers and Kubernetes workloads

▪️Health checks, patching and rebuilds on compute nodes using agreed procedures

▪️Escalate complex faults to senior engineers with clear evidence

▪️Improve runbooks and scripts as you go

Must Have:

▪️Production Linux support experience: logs, services, permissions, filesystems, networking

▪️Working Kubernetes knowledge: pods, events, node status, common failures

▪️Solid networking and storage basics (DNS, TCP/IP, NFS)

▪️A methodical troubleshooting style, plus shell scripting and Git

▪️Comfortable working under change control in a regulated setting

Nice to have: GPU or HPC exposure, NVIDIA tooling, Ansible/Python, Prometheus/Grafana, ServiceNow
