HPCSA-qualified Dental Receptionist

Provide efficient, friendly and professional telephone & other communication services.

Assist patients in accurately completing appropriate forms, and document all information in accordance to internal policies and procedures.

Responsible for all processes related to the reception-patient journey, e.g. booking, arrival, billing and payment of patient on the relevant system.

Direct all patients to the appropriate room and doctor.

Ensure patient confidentiality at all times according to POPIA.

Ensure that the reception area is always neat and tidy.

Assist patients with basic account queries and escalate as necessary.

Assisting with medical aid benefit checks and authorisations.

Collect all co-payments and account balances according to practice policies and procedures.

Execute and adhere to daily cash-up and banking processes.

Keeping dentists up to date with regards to bookings and patient care.

REQUIREMENTS

HPCSA qualification.

At least 2 years’ previous experience in medical/dental reception duties.

MS Office- proficient.

Proficiency in ExAct Dental Software will be advantageous.

Proficiency in Afrikaans will be advantageous.

Salary negotiable (based on skills and experience).
