HPES – Projects Engineer / QHSE

Review and approve project designs, specifications, and drawings. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules. Identify and resolve technical and site-related issues during project execution. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for timely project delivery. Monitor quality control procedures and ensure compliance with contractual and technical standards. Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE systems and procedures in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. Ensure compliance with OSHAD-SF and AD EHSMS requirements. Conduct site inspections, QHSE audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, including RCA and CAPA. Conduct HSE inductions, toolbox talks, safety training, and emergency drills. Ensure environmental compliance, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability practices. Monitor QHSE performance, prepare management reports, and recommend continuous improvement actions. Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment and maintain site discipline. Monitor vehicle and machinery safety, including timely servicing and maintenance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Engineering or relevant technical qualification. Proven experience in Projects Engineering and QHSE/HSE. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OSHAD-SF and AD EHSMS. Experience in site inspections, risk assessments, audits, incident investigation, and safety management. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
