Role Summary
Manage daily hostel operations, maintenance, and operational logistics in Alor Setar.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Hostel Management: Oversee daily hostel operations, manage room allocations, handle check-in/check-out processes, and maintain accurate records.
• Maintenance & Hygiene: Monitor hostel cleanliness and hygiene standards, coordinate repairs, and liaise with cleaners, landlords, and maintenance vendors.
• Supplies & Inventory: Arrange the procurement of groceries, household supplies, and manage regular stock replenishment.
• Operations & Logistics: Coordinate staff transportation, perform outdoor purchasing errands, and handle general operational support.
• Emergency Response: Act as a dependable contact to respond promptly to ad-hoc, urgent hostel or operational matters when required.

Requirements

• Education: SPM, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Experience: Prior experience in administrative support, hostel management, property management, or general operations is an added advantage.
• Licenses & Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license (Class D) and be comfortable with hands-on, outdoor errands and physical tasks.
• Candidate Profile: Highly responsible, proactive, and dependable.
• Availability: Willingness and flexibility to assist with standby duties and attend to after-hours emergencies when needed.

Benefits

• Standby & OT Allowance: Additional RM500 monthly standby/OT allowance on top of basic salary.
