HR Admin Intern (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

We're looking for a motivated HR intern to support our human resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding to employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Support onboarding of new hires
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Help organise employee engagement activities and events
• Assist in preparing HR reports, presentations, and documentation
• Support payroll and benefits administration tasks as needed
• Respond to basic employee queries and direct them to appropriate resources
• Assist with compliance-related documentation (policies, contracts, attendance)
• Support performance management processes (tracking reviews, reminders)
• Participate in HR projects such as training programmes or policy updates

About you

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
• Able to communicate in English and Malay (Chinese as an advantage)
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team
