HR Administration

About the role

Katibe House Restaurant is seeking an HR Administration professional to join our team in Badung, Bali. This is a contract position that plays a vital role in supporting our human resources operations. As HR Administration, you will be the backbone of our HR department, managing essential administrative functions that enable our restaurant to maintain a well-organised, compliant, and engaged workforce. This role is instrumental in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations and supporting both our management team and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation in compliance with local regulations and company policies
• Process employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and exit interviews
• Manage leave requests, attendance tracking, and payroll-related administrative support
• Prepare and distribute HR communications, policies, and announcements to staff
• Assist with recruitment administration, including candidate correspondence, interview scheduling, and reference checks
• Maintain HR databases and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and data security
• Support the coordination of HR meetings, training sessions, and employee events
• Process benefits enquiries and provide general HR information to employees
• Assist with compliance matters related to employment law and regulatory requirements in Bali
• Perform general administrative duties to support the HR department and broader business operations

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in HR administration, ideally in a hospitality or restaurant environment
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR management systems
• Knowledge of Indonesian employment law and regulations, particularly in Bali
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information appropriately
• Professional demeanour with strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Familiarity with hospitality industry practices is highly desirable
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with the HR team and other departments
