This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday within standard office hours (8:00am to 4:30pm). Some flexibility in hours can be accommodated for the right person. The starting salary will be between $67,000 to $72,000, depending on your skills, experience, and suitability for the role.

What you'll be doing

You will provide day-to-day HR administration support across a range of processes, including:

  • Supporting the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding
  • Coordinating recruitment activities, including advertising roles, scheduling interviews, screening applications, and maintaining candidate communications
  • Preparing employment-related documentation and maintaining accurate HR and payroll records
  • Using HR systems for recruitment administration, payroll support, and reporting
  • Coordinating training administration and maintaining training records
  • Supporting HR reporting, employee surveys, and people-related KPIs
  • Assisting with Health & Safety administration and wellbeing initiatives
  • Providing general HR support, including correspondence, inductions, and exit interviews

Skills and experience

  • Previous HR administration, recruitment, or people-focused administration experience
  • Experience supporting recruitment processes and working with hiring managers
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to quickly learn HR and payroll systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business
  • High levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity when handling sensitive employee information
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly when preparing documentation and maintaining records
  • Flexibility and willingness to occasionally adjust your schedule to support operational requirements
  • A customer-service mindset and a friendly, approachable manner
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within Human Resources
