HR Advisor

Calling all HR and People & Culture professionals across Melbourne's West & North!Our clients are in local council and are seeking an experienced HR / People & Culture professional  for short term contracts.

This is a great  for someone who enjoys working across the employee lifecycle and providing practical, high-quality support to employees, leaders and the wider People & Culture team.

About the Role:

Working within a supportive People & Culture environment, you will provide operational HR support across a range of employee lifecycle activities, including:

• Preparing employment contracts, variations, extensions and other employment documentation
• Supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle processes
• Providing responsive support to employees, managers and internal stakeholders
• Working closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Payroll
• Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Supporting HR projects and process improvement initiatives
• Ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately and in line with relevant policies and legislation

About You:

• Previous experience in HR, People & Culture or a similar role
• Experience within local government or the broader public sector highly regarded
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office
