About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a resilient, relationship and service focused mid-level HR advisor to support leaders in end-to-end HR processes. The role will take ownership of providing responsive employment relations advice to site management, executing HR projects at different stages of their life cycle, and coordinating recruitment for assigned work scopes as required.

This is a dynamic role suited to a HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and engaging with employees and stakeholders across the East Coast. The role would suit with a high level of energy, accountability and confidence to influence others.

Key skills and experience required include:

• Process and problem-solving orientation;
• Ability to build positive relationships with operational teams;
• Knowledge of Industrial Legislation and ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements/Awards;
• Sound Employee Relations experience and knowledge;
• Experience delivering recruitment and onboarding outcomes;
• Assurance to influence or negotiate win-win outcomes;
• Exceptional organisation to juggle conflicting priorities;
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail;
• Ability to act intuitively; show initiative and be responsive;
• Experience working on mining, construction or engineering projects (highly desirable).
