The starting salary will be between $87,000 and $92,000, depending on your skills, experience, and suitability for the role.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied role that combines HR advisory, employment relations, health and wellbeing initiatives, HR reporting and systems support, recruitment, and employee engagement to a large team.

  • Acting as a local subject matter expert for HR systems and processes.
  • Coordinating health, wellbeing and return-to-work programmes.
  • Supporting health and safety initiatives, committees and compliance requirements.
  • Delivering training and contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement activities.

Skills and experience

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in an HR Advisor or similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting leaders through employee relations and performance management matters.
  • A sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.  Confidence working with people at all levels of the business.
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach and sound judgement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
