HR Advisor

An exciting temporary opportunity is available to join a well established mining business located in Brisbane. As an HR Advisor, you will work alongside an established HR team to support the broader business, including line managers and the executive team. Offering a hybrid working model (combining office and work-from-home options), this position provides an exceptional work-life balance while delivering critical support across the employee life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the HR inbox and draft formal employee correspondence.
• Facilitate the seamless onboarding and orientation of new employees.
• Provide first-line support for HRIS enquiries and general system administration.
• Actively participate in broader strategic and operational HR projects.
• Conduct incident investigations, lead safety inductions, and deliver HR training.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar generalist HR Advisor or Officer role.
• Strong practical knowledge of the complete employee life cycle.
• Tech-savvy mindset with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HR systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organisation, and written/verbal communication skills.
