HR Advisor

Our client, located in Perth CBD is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established team, with an immediate temporary opportunity and potential for a permanent position as projects progress.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on HR generalist who enjoys providing practical advice, supporting operational teams and working across a broad range of HR and industrial relations matters.

This role will require occasional travel to the Project site in the Pilbara - Approx 3 - 5 days per month

Location: Perth CBD

Start date: ASAP within 1 - 2 weeks

Duration: Temporary initially for approx 2 - 3 months with potential to extend or become permanent

Pay rate: Negotiable Depending on experience

The Role

• Provide practical HR advice and guidance to leaders and employees across a range of generalist HR matters.
• Support employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace issues and policy interpretation.
• Experience or exposure to workplace investigations and employee relations matters.
• Supporting remuneration and benefits activities.
• Assist with the implementation and application of HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Work collaboratively with the broader HR/IR team, including recruitment, mobilisation, workforce planning and learning and development.
• Provide HR support to site-based teams as required, including occasional travel to site.

About You

• Previous experience in a broad HR Advisor or HR Generalist role, ideally with 5+ years' experience, although candidates with less experience will be considered.
• Strong generalist HR knowledge and the ability to provide sound, practical HR advice.
• Exposure to industrial relations and employee relations matters.
• Confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels and building effective working relationships.
• Previous site-based experience within mining, resources, construction or a similar operational environment will be highly regarded.
• Willingness to travel to site on an ad hoc basis, potentially a few days per month.
• Ability to complete the required medical assessment.
