BV Dairy is a manufacture of specialist dairy produce, established 1958 in Shaftesbury Dorset. In 2024 we joined the First Milk group – a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK.

To strengthen our HR team, we are looking for a HR Advisor (Part Time)

Salary £16,000 per year – 20 Hours per week

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development of a positive workplace culture aligned to First Milk values and behaviours.
• Support continuous improvement by bringing new ideas.
• Be an active contributor across the business and an advocate for all things people related.
• Coaching line managers on a range of employee relations issues, which includes discipline, grievance and performance management issues
• Training delivery as appropriate
• Supporting the site PDR process, providing guidance and training as necessary.

Skills

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Experience of having worked successfully in a similar level of role in a fast paced environment.
• Sound understanding of employee relations and employment legislation.
• HR experience in a manufacturing environment or the FMCG/Food/Dairy sector.
• CIPD Qualification (or working towards)
