HR Advisor

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join our Group of Schools on a permanent term basis as a HR Advisor. The successful candidate will be required to provide efficient and effective generalist HR advice. This is a diverse role where you will need excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.

Working in collaboration with predominantly the operational teams across the Group, you will be accountable for supporting these areas in the full employee life cycle to best practice principles. You will work seamlessly to bring to life HR policy and process and weave it into the fabric of everyday life. You will be the first point of contact for employees in your client areas ensuring a high standard of accessible HR support in a professional and pragmatic manner.

This is a fast-paced educational environment, and you will be required to hit the ground running managing a varied and diverse workload. The key to your success will be your ability to communicate effectively, build strong working relationships with your line managers, be highly organised and adaptable to change. No two days will be the same, however common activities may include recruitment and selection, advising and supporting grievance and disciplinary processes, absence management, contractual changes, analysing and reporting on management information, supporting managers, and designing and delivering training workshops.

With a proven track record of relevant HR experience within a fast-paced environment, you will be keen to embrace this diverse role. This role is full time, 52 weeks, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday. Holiday entitlement is 33 days (including bank holidays). Salary is £40,100.
