HR Advisor

Our client, based in Staffordshire , is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor on a 6 month temporary contract.

The position is due to start in the next few weeks on a full time basis and travel will be required to the office two/three days per week. The hourly rate is c.£22 - £24 via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will be available on short notice and have experience in similar positions.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Acting as the primary HR contact for a dedicated business area, providing end‑to‑end HR support
• Coaching and supporting managers to strengthen people‑management capability and ensure consistent policy application
• Reviewing and approving HR documentation, acting as the escalation point for operational queries
• Leading and managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance matters
• Overseeing HR Operation activity, ensuring all employee lifecycle processes are accurate, timely and compliant
• Ensuring all HR activity complies with UK employment law, internal policies and best practice
• Providing HR reporting and insights, using data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
