HR & Admin Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR & Admin Executive to join our dynamic team at SLG Food Industries Sdn Bhd in Taman Universiti Johor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Human Resources and administrative functions, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the full-cycle of human resources processes, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, monthly payroll, Foreign workers related work including permit and passport renewal and performance management
• Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations
• Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Providing administrative support, such as managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and handling general inquiries
• Contributing to the planning and execution of HR-related events and initiatives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
• Carry out any disciplinary issue process

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR and administrative role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
• Excellent knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and administrative procedures
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to maintain accurate records and data management
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a customer-focused approach
