HR & Administration Executive (Batam, Indonesia)

About the role

This is a comprehensive HR role responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment, employee administration, payroll, compliance with Indonesian labour law, expatriate and work permit administration, tax matters, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment activities, including job posting, screening, interviews, selection and onboarding
• Coordinate manpower planning according to business and operational requirements
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personal files and HR records
• Manage employee attendance, leave, overtime and other HR-related records
• Coordinate monthly payroll processing and ensure payroll information is accurate and timely
• Ensure HR practices and employment documentation comply with applicable Indonesian manpower regulations
• Handle and coordinate KITAS and work permit applications, renewals and related processes for foreign employees
• Handle employee grievances, complaints and workplace issues
• Prepare regular HR reports including headcount, recruitment status, employee turnover, attendance and absenteeism, overtime, leave, payroll-related information, training, and expatriate/KITAS status
• Liaise with Disnaker, BPJS, Immigration, Ministry of Manpower, DJP and other relevant government authorities on HR-related matters
