  • Prepare biweekly payroll and timekeeping information and maintain accurate employee, wage, schedule, and paid time off records.
  • Prepare workforce and safety reports and coordinate required information with external payroll, accounting, insurance, and benefits partners.
  • Provide administrative support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card documentation, deposits, petty cash, mail, filing, and recurring deadlines.
  • Develop and improve practical procedures, checklists, trackers, and workflows to promote accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Perform other related duties consistent with the purpose and level of responsibility of the position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
  • HR certification or in the process of obtaining certification.
  • Progressively responsible HR administration or generalist experience, including recruiting, employee relations, payroll or timekeeping, benefits or leave, and recordkeeping.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and sound HR practices.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HR, payroll, timekeeping, and recordkeeping systems.

Preferred: Experience in aquaculture, agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, or another operational environment; multi-site support; workers’ compensation; safety reporting; or coordination with external payroll, accounting, benefits, or insurance partners.
