HR & Compliance Manager

About the role

Reporting to management, the HR & Compliance Manager will be responsible for supporting and strengthening HR, safety and compliance systems across the Group.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting, implementing and regularly reviewing company policies and procedures.
• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of safety and compliance management systems.
• Coordinating and tracking corrective actions arising from incidents, audits and inspections.
• Maintaining compliance registers, licences, permits and training records.
• Conducting internal reviews, inspections and audits.
• Monitoring compliance with WHS legislation, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and company policies.
• Supporting toolbox talks, safety meetings and employee training initiatives.
• Reviewing and monitoring contractor compliance documentation.
• Providing practical HR and compliance support to managers and employees.
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across our systems and processes.

• Previous experience in a Safety, Compliance, WHS, HR or Transport Compliance role.

• Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, Chain of Responsibility and compliance requirements.

• Experience developing, implementing and reviewing policies, procedures and compliance systems.
