HC & HR Drivers – Waste Management

Two Positions Available | Weekend & Night Shift Opportunities

Our client is a leading waste management company providing safe, reliable and professional waste collection and disposal services across Sydney. We are looking for reliable HC and HR Drivers to join the team across two different positions.

HC Driver – Weekend | St Marys

·         $40.83/hr + Weekend Penalties

·         Saturday & Sunday | 10–12-hour shifts

·         Location: St Marys NSW

HR Driver – Night Shift | Padstow

·         $46.43/hr + $11.14 Night Shift Allowance + Penalties

·         Nights Only

·         Location: Padstow NSW

What You Will Be Doing

Depending on the position, you will be responsible for operating HC or HR vehicles to collect, load and unload a range of waste streams including cooking oils, fats, grease trap, food waste, septic, hydrocarbons, industrial water waste and packaged hazardous waste.

·         Load, unload, sort and pack waste including paints, flammable liquids, gas bottles, batteries, oils and aerosols.

·         Operate vehicles and equipment safely in line with training, procedures and company requirements.

·         Perform manual handling tasks including dragging and pulling hoses, lifting lids, cleaning traps, scraping and hosing.

·         Complete daily vehicle and equipment safety checks and basic maintenance as required.

·         Maintain a professional image and provide high-quality customer service.

·         Ensure all tools and equipment are kept clean, safe and correctly stored.

What You Will Need

·         HC licence with at least 2 years' driving experience – required for the St Marys position.

·         HR Driver’s Licence – essential for the Padstow position.

·         Previous driving or waste industry experience.

·         Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

·         Good work ethic and reliable attendance.

·         Ability to perform manual handling and physical duties.

·         Self-motivated with a strong mechanical aptitude.

·         Forklift licence desirable for the HC position.

·         Waste transportation or packaged waste experience desirable.

·         Vacuum loading experience desirable for the HR position but not essential – training provided.

·         EPA Permit to Transport desirable for the HR position but not essential – training provided.

·         Willingness to work weekends and/or night shifts depending on the position.
