What they need
This role matters: This is an exciting opportunity for a HR and Learning & Development Officer to join our HR team and play a key role in supporting the employee experience while strengthening a culture of continuous learning and professional development. Could it be you?
This varied role combines hands-on HR administration with responsibility for coordinating learning and development activities for our Hospice teams and the wider health and social care community.
From recruitment, employee correspondence and HR reporting, to absence management, payroll support and the coordination of internal and external training, no two days will be the same. You will need to be organised and approachable, with the confidence to manage competing priorities and build positive working relationships.
Our HR team works closely with colleagues across the Hospice to attract, develop and retain talented people, ensuring they have the support, resources and opportunities they need to thrive. This work helps to create a positive environment where colleagues can be at their best, enabling them to continue providing compassionate care to patients and those important to them.
As the Hospice approaches a significant chapter in its history through the upcoming refurbishment, this is a unique chance to be part of the team that works alongside our people to navigate and embrace this period of change.
If you have strong administrative, IT and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in people and development, we'd love to welcome you to our team.
