HR Assistant

About the role
We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our team at Cesco Environmental Technologies Pte Ltd in the Joo Koon West Region. This full-time role will provide crucial support to our HR department, contributing to the effective management of our employees and the ongoing growth of our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records, HR documentation and databases

• Process bi-monthly payroll for hourly and monthly-rated employees

• Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes

• Process work permits/S Passes/Employment Passes applications, renewals and cancellations

• Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with Singapore employment laws and regulations

• Coordinate employee training and development activities, including workshops and performance reviews

• Respond to employee enquiries and provide support on HR-related matters

• Arrange and coordinate medical services for rank-and-file employees

• Support recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening candidates and scheduling interviews

• Update and submit employee information to relevant government agencies and statutory bodies

• Assist with WICA and GHS insurance claims and submissions

• Undertaking ad-hoc HR-related tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a GCE “O” level certification
• 1-2 years of experience in an HR assistant or administrative role, preferably in the generalist HR industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in using HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
• A passion for contributing to the growth and development of the organization
